Cacao Ceremony
We are thrilled to announce that Cacao is still happening and Valkyrie remains the host! Megan looks forward to beginning a new path of Cacao ceremonies with the new owner of the aerial yoga studio, Jessica Sturtz. This upcoming Cacao ceremony is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, April 18, although the time is yet to be decided. We will be keeping you updated as soon as it is official and posted!
KETTLEBELL Teacher Training
This course is a 9 week series that will meet every Wednesday from 9/23 - 11/18. Each session will be 2 hours, from 6-8pm. Here is the course outline:
Week 1: Breathing, Positioning, and Mobility - 9/23/26
Week 2: Deadlifts & Hinging - 9/30/26
Week 3: Swings - 10/7/26
Week 4: Single Arm Swing & Cleans - 10/14/26
Week 5: Presses & Snatches - 10/21/26
Week 6: Squats & Lunges - 10/28/26
Week 7: Turkish Get Ups - 11/4/26
Week 8: Accessory Movements - 11/11/26
Week 9: Programing - 11/18/26
Aerial Yoga Teacher Training
Our full curriculum is covered over four separate weekends, allowing for ample “classroom” time, and time spent practicing and teaching. We also offer a robust mentoring program with one of our teacher trainers to ensure your success. Our next round will begin in Fall 2026. Click the learn more button for the dates, etc.
Part 1: Aerial Yoga Fundamentals: These weekends are all about learning aerial yoga movements that we use in our beginner classes. We will explore the mind/body connection, basic anatomy, the science of stretching and strength building, foundational aerial yoga postures & building a movement vocabulary. Part 1 can be taken as a stand alone course.
Part 2: Intermediate Aerial Yoga: We will work on creating and leading a dynamic, safe and fun Level 2 aerial yoga class. Much of the time will be spent on learning new poses and practice teaching with plenty of feedback so you can refine your teaching voice.
