Hi! I’m Roxy, and I’m the owner of Valkyrie Fitness. For those of you who don’t know my background, I’ve been a personal trainer and group fitness instructor for about a decade. I know the importance of BOTH strength training AND mobility training. I often say that aerial yoga and kettlebells are like two sides of the same coin. Aerial yoga is focused on mobility, but you’ll get stronger doing it. Kettlebells focus on strength, but you’ll improve your mobility too.

I also understand the importance of finding a type of movement that you actually enjoy doing. For me, that means something that is both mentally and physically engaging. Something that is effective, but allows room for variety. It may have a bit of a learning curve, but after a few sessions there is a sense of flow throughout the movements and the workout. 

Aerial yoga and kettlebells check all those boxes, and more. You can do just one, but I bet you’ll love both.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our studio is located on 10 S Columbia St in Wenatchee, above SPORT Gymnastics. If you are looking at the front of the building, the door to the right will lead upstairs. Once upstairs, walk towards the back of the building. Our studios are located on the left side of the hallway. #203 is where the kettlebell classes will be held, and #205 is where the aerial yoga classes will be held.

  • There is a free public parking lot on the corner of Palouse St & Columbia St.

    The parking lot next to our building is only open to the public on weekends and weeknights after 6pm.

  • The classroom door will open 15 minutes prior to the start of class. The door will lock once the class begins. For aerial yoga, we recommend arriving at least 10 minutes early so that the instructor has a chance to adjust the hammock to your height if needed.

  • Because we only have a limited number of spaces available, we do require that you pre-register for each class. Classes can be booked online up to 21 days in advance. We cannot accommodate walk-ins who have not pre-registered online.

  • We require 2 hours notice for cancellations. Late cancellations will result in the loss of the session if using a drop in or class pass, or a $15 late cancel/no show fee for those with unlimited memberships.

    An exception to this policy can be made if you have to cancel due to illness or emergency, but you will need to email us within 24 hours of the missed class at hello@valkyriefitnessstudio.com

  • Good news - most people who sign up on the waitlist end up getting into the class! If you sign up on the waitlist, please plan on attending.

    You can be added to the class up to two hours before the class begins. You will receive an email notification that you have been added into the class. Your notification preferences can be set or changed by logging into your account and changing them in the settings.

    *If you make other plans after signing up, be sure to cancel your waitlist reservation to leave room for the people who can attend. Once you are moved from the waitlist to the class roster our regular cancellation policy applies.

  • Monthly auto-pay memberships can be canceled at least 72 hours before your next billing date by emailing us at hello@valkyriefitnessstudio.com.

    Once you cancel your monthly renewing membership, we cannot guarantee that you will receive the same rate in the future.

    You may put your membership on hold for up to 3 months per calendar year, in 1 month increments, free of charge.

    There will be no partial refunds once your billing date has passed.

  • Our regularly scheduled classes at Valkyrie Fitness are for those 14+. Youths 14 & 15 must attend with a parent or guardian. Youths 16 & 17 may attend on their own after their liability waiver is signed by a parent or guardian.

    If we get enough interest we will look into adding a youth class. If you have a child younger than 14 who would like to try aerial yoga, please fill out the form here.
